Nick Sutton, the jack man for Kenny Wallace, will be making a presentation to UNOH students on Friday, January 6, 2012 from 2:00pm until 5:00pm in room 605 of the 600 Building on campus. His presentation will be about what it’s like to be a crucial member of a pit crew team. Sutton will be breaking down all the responsibilities of each pit crew member along with other NASCAR non-pit crew jobs. Sutton will include overhead views of pit stops and helmet cams. The goal of this workshop is to explain to students the organization, team work, hard work, accountability, networking skills, and professionalism that it takes to be an effective and productive member of a NASCAR pit crew.
The presentation will continue into Saturday, January 7, 2012 with the following schedule of events:
9:00am – 10:00am Neurofeedback: What it is and how it can benefit pit crew members
10:00am – 10:30am Break
10:30am – 12:00pm Individual Drills, Moving Drills, Situational Stops
12:00pm – 1:00pm Team Stops with Coaching
