Francis named NAIA All-American
The University of Northwestern Ohio is proud to announce Amanda Francis has been repeated as a NAIA All-American. Francis, one of six players from the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference honored by the NAIA, was placed on the honorable mention team; she was an honorable mention pick last year as well.
“Amanda has worked very hard during her four years and is quite deserving of this honor,” UNOH basketball coach Kyle Menchhofer said. “She played on a team that was very unselfish. She was a great player and teammate. She is a great representative of Lady Racers basketball.”
Francis led the WHAC with 18.1 points per game, shooting 51 percent from the floor and averaging 2.45 steals. She leaves the program with numerous school records, including leading career scorer, rebounds, steals and games played.
