The University of Northwestern Ohio’s 93rd annual commencement exercises will be held this year on Sunday, June 9,at 1:00 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Civic and Convention Center. A total of 1,117 students from the College of Applied Technologies, College of Business, College of Health Professions, College of Occupational Professions, and Graduate College will be receiving their degrees and diplomas. Twelve University of Northwestern Ohio students and their advisors traveled to Orlando, Florida for this year’s Business Professionals of America’s National Contest held May 8-12, 2013. More than 4,000 students from across the nation competed at this year’s BPA National Conference. One UNOH student placed within the top 3 in the nation in individual events, and one UNOH team also placed in the top 3 in team events. The University of Northwestern Ohio Optimist Club is hosting its third annual Safety Bike-a-thon event on Saturday, May 18, 2013 from 10:00am until 2:00pm sponsored by the UNOH Optimist Club. The University of Northwestern Ohio will hold the final hands-on phase of its automotive and diesel troubleshooting contests on Friday, May 17, 2013. The competition starts at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 12:00 noon. Students in the Automotive Program will be competing in the 300 Building on the University campus.
