UNOH President Featured on National TV Program

The University of Northwestern Ohio President, Dr. Jeffrey A. Jarvis, will appear nationally on SPIKE’s PowerBlock TV segment on November 3rd and 4th, 2012.  PowerBlock TV is a 2-hour segment on television that includes the shows Horsewpower, Muscle Cars, Extreme 4×4, Trucks! and Search and Restore.  During and between each show, there are interviews with people involved in products or companies that deal with cars, trucks, and motorsports.  On November 3rd and 4th, that person is Dr. Jarvis and the University of Northwestern Ohio.

 

PowerBlock TV is hosted by Courtney Hansen.  Hansen interviewed Dr. Jarvis about the University and its involvement in the racing world.  They discussed everything from the Motorsports Athletic Teams, to the internships students receive while in school.  To better illustrate the Motorsports program at UNOH, the University brought a UNOH Modified Car, built by UNOH students, to the Nashville, Tennessee studios where the segment was taped.
